Taroko National Park
The Taroko National Park was established in 1986. Park grounds span across the territories of Hualien, Nantou, and Taichung. Taroko National Park with its breathtaking natural mountain scenery is popularly renowned for its magnificent nearly vertical marble canyons. Trekking the canyon scenic line banks along Liwu Creek would give one an exhilarating view of the awe-inspiring majestic rock cliff and canyon walls leading to a meandering cavernous mountain tunnel, beautiful marble rock formations, and enthralling river scenery.

Sun Moon Lake
Sun Moon Lake is located in Yuchi Township of Nantou County. It has a total area of 7.73 square kilometers. The sun shape of the northern half and the crescent moon shape of the southern half of the lake earned the lake its name. Sun Moon Lake is a vast expanse of crystal dark green water lying in the embrace of towering mountains. The resplendent mountain and water scenery give tourists a choice for enjoyment and a leisurely sightseeing tour from afar or near the lake.
Alishan National Forest
Alishan National Forest Recreation Area is located in Chiayi, covering an area of 1400 hectares with the main tourism spot locating at about 2,200 meters high above sea level. There are 209 raining days and 244 foggy days on average. The heavily wet weather contribute the outstanding forest and climate landscape such as Alishan sunrise, sea of clouds, afterglow, forest, railways which count to the five famous sightseeing spots known internationally.
